The Campus Events Council celebrates Read Across America at Jackson Elementary for the 3rd year in a row!
Read Across America is celebrated nationally on March 2 each and every year in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. This year marked the third year that CEC visited Jackson Elementary School to spread the joy of reading. Over a dozen Clayton State students made the journey and engaged grades Pre-K through 5th in reading and writing fun.  Outfitted in eye catching Stove Top Hats and equipped with traditional Dr. Seuss’ books including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Oh The Places You’ll Go and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, the Clayton State students enjoyed their time with the students of Jackson Elementary and they look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
